Lenovo’s new Tango phone might be the smartest smartphone on the market

According to a new leak, Lenovo plans to unveil three new phones that are unlike anything else on the market at its second annual Lenovo Tech World event on Thursday. The leak claims that’s we’ll see the following three phones today: the 6.4-inch PHAB2, the dual-camera PHAB2 Plus and the PHAB2 Pro — the world’s first Tango-enabled phone available to consumers.

DON’T MISS: Tesla just started selling two cheaper Model S sedans

As revealed by a leak from Root Nation, the PHAB2 Pro is the new flagship phone from Lenovo. Powered by Google’s Project Tango, the Pro features a set of sensors and software that allows it to sense and map its surroundings, enabling augmented reality (AR) experiences that wouldn’t be possible on other phones.

Along with being the world’s first Tango phone, the PHAB2 Pro is also a competent Android 6.0 flagship. The Pro features a 6.4-inch Quad HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 4050 mAh battery, 16 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera.

If you want a massive Lenovo phone that isn’t Tango-enabled, the more affordable PHAB2 and PHAB2 Plus devices might be worth a look.

The PHAB2 features a 6.4-inch 720p HD display, MediaTek 8735 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 4050 mAh battery, 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera.

The PHAB2 Plus comes with many of the same specifications (save for its upgraded 1080p display and octa-core processor), but the selling point for the Plus is its 13 MP dual rear camera with additional professional features.

Lenovo revealed during the event that the PHAB2 Pro will be available globally for $499 in September and will come to the US before the end of the year.

Review: Netflix’s VOLTRON: LEGENDARY DEFENDER Awesomely Honors The Original Series

If you’ve seen the trailers for DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming Netflix series Voltron: Legendary Defender, then you know how great this series looks. When I saw the first footage at WonderCon earlier this year, I seriously got goosebumps because of how excited I was to see it.

I recently had the opportunity to watch the first hour-long episode titled “The Rise of Voltron,” and it offers us the origin story of how the Voltron team comes together and ends up being the defender of the universe.

I am a huge fan of the original 1980s series. That was one of my favorite cartoons to watch when I was a kid, so this new series had a lot of expectations to live up to. I am extremely happy to say that this show is freakin’ rad! They took everything we loved about the original series and awesomely upgraded it. In all sincerity, I believe that Voltron: Legendary Defender is even better that the original series. I know many of you might be screaming “blasphemy!” to that statement, but just wait until you see this show for yourself.

The series features some pretty great action-packed sequences, a good amount of amusing humor, and it’s spectacularly animated. They had a very talented team of artists working on this, and the high quality of work that went into developing it is evident in the final product.

The series was developed by executive producers Joaquim Dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery, who have previously worked on several animated projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Hulk VS, Planet Hulk, The Legend of Korra, Justice League, Avengers: EMH, and more. These are two incredibly talented individuals and they bring their talent and major fandom to this project. You can tell they are fans of the original series and that they wanted to honor and respect it.

The series has a very modern anime style to it — not just in the visuals, but in the storytelling and character development as well. It’s full of fun, wacky, and charming anime mannerisms. At the same time, the show is loaded with extreme badassery. I had a blast watching the first episode, and when it ended I was sad I couldn’t watch the rest of it.

The series features the voice talents of Kimberly Brooks as Princess Allura, Rhys Darby as Coran, Josh Keaton as Shiro (the Black Lion), Tyler Labine as Hunk (the Yellow Lion), Jeremy Shada as Lance (the Blue Lion), Bex Taylor-Klaus as Pidge (the Green Lion), and Steven Yeun as Keith (the Red Lion).

Five unsuspecting teenagers, transported from Earth into the middle of a sprawling intergalactic war, become pilots for five robotic lions in the battle to protect the universe from evil. Only through the true power of teamwork can they unite to form the mighty warrior known as Voltron.

Witness the rebirth of the legend with this ambitious reimagining of the fan-favorite science-fiction saga, promising galaxies worth of action, comedy, and adventure, as good battles evil in an intergalactic war ten thousand years in the making.

The first season of Voltron: Legendary Defender will drop on Netflix on June 10, 2016.

Watch Jon Stewart’s hilarious but brief interview on Samantha Bee’s ‘Full Frontal’

I have to be perfectly honest: I kind of hated Samantha Bee when she was on The Daily Show. OK, “hate” is a strong word, but I was not a fan at all. In fact, I found her segments to be so annoying that I regularly used them as an opportunity to get up and leave the room for a refill or a snack. In other words, at the time I would tend to sit through commercial breaks over Bee’s Daily Show segments.

I’m not a regular watcher of her new TBS show Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, but I have checked it out on a few occasions since it premiered with a fair amount of critical acclaim. While her character on Full Frontal is quite similar to her Daily Show personality, she’s much smarter on the new show and I really did enjoy what I saw. Of course, the show became even more enjoyable on Monday evening when Jon Stewart stopped by for a quick interview.

MUST SEE: Brand new images show us how hot the iPhone 7 will actually be

Bee looks particularly serious as she thanks Stewart profusely and gears up to ask her what we can only assume is an important and pressing question. The Full Frontal host appeared on The Daily Show regularly from 2003 until she left last August, and Stewart seems more than happy to help her. Then, her question: “What do I do with… this guy?”

Bee motions to her side as the camera angle widens to reveal a miniature white pony standing in her office. “Can you take him to your massage farm?” Bee asks politely, joking about the animal sanctuary that Stewart and his wife formed. We won’t spoil the end of the bit, but it’s definitely worth a watch and you’ll find it in the video embedded below.
